But this seasons pastel tones have a cooler twist. Think duck egg blues and cool lilac tones, a slight turn away from past season preferences of dusky pink. How To Ulitize Your Previous Season's Pieces
As my boyfriends put me on a strict shopping ban (thanks babe), I searched through my wardrobe for existing pieces that I could use to rock this 'new pastel' look.
Top: Valley Girl
Sunnies: K Mart
Shoes: Big W
The most important thing is to focus on your textures. Forget the lacey, girly-girl past seasons and embrace a more grown up look with crepes, chiffons and polyester shirt fabrics. You can still be girly with this look, just tone down bows and sparkles with plainer fabrics to keep it looking classy.
This Season's Wish List
